ALPHA OLEFIN C1214

Blend of 1-Docecene and 1-Tetradecene. The mixture is a clear water white, mobile liquid at room temperature. Applications: Alpha Olefin C1214 enters into all reactions typical of alpha olefins. C1214 can be used in the production of amines and amine oxides, oxo alcohols, alkylated aromatics, epoxides and synthetic fatty acids. Alpha olefins are a type of unsaturaed hydrocarbon that are used in the production of a variety of consumer and industrial products, including detergents, lubricants and plastics. C12-14alpha olefins are intermediate chain length alpha olefins and are used as a starting material fo the production of other chemicals and polymers. They are also used as additives in lubricants and other products to improve certain properties.
