IMCD Nordic moves to a new, dynamic head office within Malmö
A vibrant new environment supporting work-life balance to help us keep growing in the future
After more than 30 years in the same location, IMCD Sweden establishes a new office and two technical centers in Hyllie, Malmö. The key location and modern, upgraded premises mean an important milestone for the IMCD Nordic head office after years of steady growth.
The building
Eden is a unique concept building and one of the most innovative properties in Europe aimed at promoting health and well-being. Eden is certified under LEED and WELL v2 and it’s also the first ever Symbiotic Building. The building is equipped with intelligent technology and digital services, and it offers an in-house, third-party office service. Furthermore, it provides exercise opportunities such as regular, joint training classes to everyone working in the house.
Biophilia is known to have beneficial effects on health and well-being. In order to create a harmonious working environment and a healthy indoor air quality, you can find over 10 000 live plants in the house.
In addition to modern and smart solutions the house offers luxurious details such as a rooftop terrace with meeting rooms, summer kitchen and a view over the iconic Oresund bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark. The ground floor hosts a modern, contemporary restaurant serving healthy and delicious food in the spirit of the world-famous New Nordic Cuisine.
The office
Our beautiful office space provides our local team an inspiring working environment and supports creating a healthy work-life balance. The open space encourages collaboration and teamwork while lots of daylight and the surrounding biophilia contribute to well-being and energy.
When creating the office, attention was paid to not only functionality but also design and harmony. The office interior is clean and Scandinavian and follows the nature-like feeling of the surrounding building with its green and wooden elements.
With the new office space, IMCD Nordic got a chance to design and upgrade the two local technical centers, one for Food & Nutrition and one for Coatings & Construction. The enhanced, state-of-the-art laboratory premises with the latest equipment are our pride and joy, and they provide an excellent opportunity to collaborate with our partners on-site, supporting them with their innovation and formulation.
Hyllie district

Situated only 15 minutes from Copenhagen airport, and with excellent public transportation connections, Hyllie is a convenient location for our international guests and commuting personnel alike.
