FIBRILIGHT

Description

FibriLight 100% natural fibre (flax or hemp) light-weight mats are generally used as surfacing mats or as reinforcements for composites with low mechanical properties. They offer good drapability and are perfectly suited to complex designs and shapes. These mats are suitable for contact moulding, infusion and RTM. FibriLight mats are compatible with most liquid thermosetting resins (epoxy, unsaturated polyester, vinylester, etc.). The thermoplastic version based on natural fibre (flax or hemp) and thermoplastic polymer fibre (PP, PLA, PA, etc.) is perfectly suited to thermocompression processing. In this case, the mat is used for its aesthetic contribution to thermoplastic composites.
