Description

Excellion® Calcium Caseinate S is a spray dried milk protein, prepared from fresh skimmed milk. Excellion® Calcium Caseinate S is used in nutritional, sport and health foods, slimming and medical formulas. Excellion® Calcium Caseinate S is particularly suited for the use in high protein drinks and bars because of its excellent stability and sensory profile. Next to that, it can be used to increase the protein level and/or improve texture of a wide range of food applications such as yoghurt, dairy drinks and processed cheese. Excellion® Calcium Caseinate S creates creamy and stable shakes with a milky appearance and neutral taste. Excellion® Calcium Caseinate S has excellent emulsifying properties, solubility and heat stability, making best tasting and stable UHT drinks. The product is rich in casein protein (91%) and calcium (1.5%) and contains only 0.25% of lactose which makes it easy to formulate lactose free or low lactose high protein products (depending on local legislation).
