Description

Clear, colourless, mobile liquid with a pleasant, ketone-like odour. It is a building block for heterocycles (isoxazoles, pyrazoles, pyrimidines, pyridines). It is an intermediate for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals (e.g. Sulfamethanzine, Nicarbazine), for synthesis of vitamin B6 and vitamin K, for the synthesis of pesticides (e.g. Sulfamethazine, sulfonylurea-herbicides).
