VITAMIN K1

VITAMIN K1 is a practically odorless, viscous oily liquid with product code 0435015. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, and freely soluble in ether, chloroform, fats and oils. VITAMIN K1 is slowly degraded by atmospheric oxygen but is fairly, rapidly degraded by light. It is relatively stable to heat but is decomposed by alkalis. VITAMIN K1 meets all requirements of the USP, FCC and Ph. Eur. when tested according to these compendia. VITAMIN K1 provides important benefits to the Food industry.
