AB RUST A4

AB RUST®A4 is mainly recommended for: flash-rust protection of water based anticorrosive primers, paints and varnishes based on acrylic, styrene-acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane dispersions or emulsions in-can protection for metal packaging filled with above products AB RUST®A4 must be added preferentially in the letdown, before the rheological agents. The use in post-addition is also a possible option. The use levels are: typically, from 0.5 to 1% based on the total weight exceptionally, for sensitive metal substrates, 1.5 to 2% based on the total weight There is no advantage to use higher levels. On the contrary, a too high dosage can increase the water sensitivity of the dry film.
