BAYHYDROL A 2469 is an aqueous hydroxyfunctional polyacrylic dispersion that can be thinned with water to application viscosity. When combined with aliphatic polyisocyanates, BAYHYDROL A 2469 yields high-gloss top coats which can be dried at room temperature or force-dried. The cured paint films are hard, flexible with good adhesion and resistance to solvents and water. BAYHYDROL A 2469 has good pigment wetting properties and high shear stability, making it suitable for various industrial and architectural applications requiring a durable and protective clear or pigmented top coat. Its aqueous single-component or two-component formulations provide an environment-friendly option compared to solvent-borne systems.
