CRISTAL AN 004

CRISTAL AN 004 is a copolyester that contains a mold release. It has excellent appearance and is nearly water-clear. Its most outstanding features are its chemical resistance and processing capabilities. Exposure to aromatic oils often causes crazing ot actual fracture of many polymer resins, but Eastman CRISTAL AN004 maintains its phisical properties when exposed to these oils, and its appearance is virtually unchanged. Easy to process, it flows readily and fills intricate molds. CRISTAL AN 004's easy processability coupled with its chemical resistance allows for use in thick-wall applications in the cosmetic and personal care industry such as: color cosmetics packaging, closures - fragances or fragance packaging among others.
