BYK-S 782

BYK S 782 is an additive used to prevent surface tackiness in resins and polymers. It forms an optimal film on the surface which prevents the inhibiting effect of atmospheric oxygen. BYK S 782 is particularly suitable for isophthalic and orthophthalic resins as well as DCPD-containing resins commonly used in advanced material formulations. By preventing surface tackiness and ensuring tack-free surfaces, BYK S 782 helps improve processability and handling of advanced material resins and composites during manufacturing. It can also be used at higher ambient temperatures extending the processing window. As an additive, BYK S 782 provides benefits such as improved surface properties, better film formation and interlaminar adhesion for resins without affecting performance of the final advanced material.
