BYK-MAX HS 4301

BYK MAX HS 4301 is a granulated long-term thermal stabilizer additive used in polymer formulations. As a combination of thermal stabilizers, BYK MAX HS 4301 inhibits thermo-oxidative decomposition by intercepting radicals and decomposing reactive peroxides. This extends the life of materials used in demanding high-temperature applications. BYK MAX HS 4301 also has a very positive influence on long-term heat aging (LTHA), allowing formulations to more easily meet stringent industry standards requiring longevity at elevated temperatures. Adding approximately 2% BYK MAX HS 4301 provides materials with improved resistance to degradation from extended high heat exposure, maintaining critical material properties for the lifespan of demanding applications.
