DERAKANE MOMENTUM 640-900 is an epoxy vinyl ester resin based on bisphenol A epoxy resin designed for high temperature cure processes like pultrusion. Improvements such as faster line speed, better surface gloss, reduced shrinkage and longer pot life are observed. DERAKANE MOMENTUM 640-900 resin provides excellent mechanical properties and structural performance due to its optimized epoxy backbone. Its low styrene content also allows for substantial reduction of emissions. DERAKANE MOMENTUM 640-900 is suitable for fabrication techniques like pultrusion, resin transfer molding and filament winding used in advanced material industries. When properly formulated and cured, complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.2420, covering materials intended for repeated use in contact with food.
