ELTESOL SX40

ELTESOL SX40 is an aqueous solution of sodium xylene sulphonate that acts as a hydrotrope. ELTESOL SX40 can increase the solubility of other compounds and in conjunction with non-ionic surfactants, it can raise the cloud point of the solution allowing clear liquids to be obtained at higher temperatures. This enables additional control of the foaming characteristics and performance. ELTESOL SX40 may also be used to reduce the viscosity of concentrated surfactants and formulations. ELTESOL SX40 provides benefits in industries that require solutions with increased solubility and viscosity control at higher temperatures along with optimized foaming characteristics.
