GENIOSIL XL 12

GENIOSIL XL 12 is an alkoxyvinylsilane. It´s a clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic odor. The silane hydrolyzes in the presence of moisture (methanol is released) to form silanols, which can then react with themselves to produce siloxanes. GENIOSIL XL 12 is an unsaturated organic compound and can be incorporated into organic polymers by radical grafting or co-polymerization. It can be applied in adhesives, emulsion paint, coatings and plastics crosslinking.
